From downtown Breckenridge, head southeast on Main Street. Turn left onto Ski Hill Road and continue until you reach County Road 3. Turn right onto County Road 3; the preserve will be on your left. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and takes about 30-40 minutes. Sidewalks are available along most of the route.

Public Transport
Take the Breckenridge Free Ride bus. Board the 'Blue Route' and get off at the 'Cucumber Gulch' stop. From there, walk about 5-10 minutes on County Road 3 to reach the entrance at 1599 County Rd 3. The bus service is free.

Driving
From the center of Breckenridge, head southeast on South Main Street toward Ski Hill Road. Continue on South Main Street for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Ski Hill Road and continue for approximately 1 mile. Merge onto Colorado Route 9 and after about 1.5 miles, turn right onto County Road 3. Cucumber Gulch Wildlife Preserve will be on your left at 1599 County Rd 3. Parking is limited and may be full during peak times.
