Getting There

  • Public Bus

    Start at the Colorado Springs downtown area. Head to the nearest bus stop and take the Mountain Metro Transit route 5 (the Palmer Park route) heading north. Stay on the bus for about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop near North Academy Blvd & Culebra Pl. From there, walk south on Culebra Pl for about 5 minutes. The Monument Valley Park Geologic Column will be on your right at 1825 Culebra Pl.

  • Bicycle

    If you are near the downtown area, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations. Head north on Cascade Ave, then take a right onto Uintah St. Continue on Uintah St until you reach Culebra Pl. Turn left onto Culebra Pl and head north. The Monument Valley Park Geologic Column will be located at 1825 Culebra Pl. This route is approximately 3 miles and should take about 15-20 minutes by bike.

The Geologic Column will be on your right at 1825 Culebra Pl. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
