Start your journey at the Colorado Springs City Hall, located at 107 N Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. From there, walk to the nearest bus stop and board the Metro Transit Route 1 towards the Westside and Manitou Springs. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Old Colorado City' stop, which is near the intersection of Colorado Ave and 25th St. From this stop, walk west on Colorado Ave for about 10 minutes until you reach the heart of Old Colorado City, where you can explore the shops and attractions.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops in downtown Colorado Springs. Head west on Colorado Ave (U.S. Route 24) and continue for about 2.5 miles. You'll find a bike lane along Colorado Ave, making it safe and easy to ride. As you approach Old Colorado City, look for the signs that indicate you're entering the historic district. Once you arrive, you can lock your bike at one of the bike racks available near the shops.

If you're up for a scenic walk, you can start from the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum located at 215 S Tejon St, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. From the museum, head west on S Cascade Ave, then turn left onto Colorado Ave. Continue walking for about 1.5 miles. You will pass by various local shops and attractions along the way. The walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Old Colorado City, you can enjoy the historic atmosphere and explore the local art galleries and eateries.
