Car
If you're traveling by car within Gunnison Valley, head towards Almont. From Gunnison, take US-50 East for approximately 18 miles. Turn left onto CO-135 North and continue for around 5 miles. Then, turn right onto CO Rd 742. Follow CO Rd 742 for about 2 miles, and you will reach Three Rivers Resort & Outfitting located at 130 Co Rd 742, Almont, CO 81210. There is no parking fee at the resort.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take the Gunnison Valley RTA bus service. Board the bus at the Gunnison Depot. The RTA operates routes that connect Gunnison to Almont. Check the current schedule for times, as it may vary based on the season. Once you arrive in Almont, you can either walk approximately 2 miles to Three Rivers Resort or call for a local taxi service for a short ride.
Biking
If you're feeling adventurous, consider biking to Three Rivers Resort. From Gunnison, take the same route as by car (US-50 East to CO-135 North), but use the bike lane where available. The total distance is about 25 miles, and it's a scenic route. Make sure to bring water and snacks, as there are limited stops along the way.
