Continental Divide Winery: Breckenridge Tasting Room
Experience award-winning wines at the world's highest-altitude winery in Breckenridge. Taste Colorado & California grapes in a unique setting.
Continental Divide Winery offers a unique wine-tasting experience in the heart of Breckenridge. As the world's highest-altitude winery, with its production facility in Fairplay, CO, at approximately 10,000 feet, Continental Divide minimizes oxygen exposure during crafting and aging, allowing the true flavors of the fruit to come through. Founded in 2016 by California vintners Jeffrey and Ana Maltzman and Colorado wine enthusiasts Kent Hutchison and Angela Bryan, the winery showcases wines from both Colorado and California grapes. The Breckenridge tasting room provides a casual and friendly atmosphere where guests can enjoy wine flights, wines by the glass and bottle, and participate in an entertaining wine education. Visitors can also create their own custom wine blend from four red wine varietals, and then bottle, cork, and label their souvenir. The winery has garnered acclaim, including being voted Colorado's Best Winery Experience and winning multiple Best of Summit awards. The tasting room is dog-friendly, making it a welcoming spot for all. Continental Divide Winery also offers space for private events, including weddings, in the VIP Barrel Room and outdoor patio.
