Discover more about Frisco Bay Marina

The Frisco Bay Marina, located at the eastern end of Frisco's Main Street, serves as the primary access point to the pristine waters of Dillon Reservoir. At an elevation of over 9,000 feet, this certified clean marina is a hub for water sports and a popular sailing destination. The marina offers a variety of activities, including boat rentals (pontoon, fishing, kayak, canoe, stand-up paddleboard), sailing lessons, and guided tours. Visitors can also enjoy the sandy beach, playground at Marina Park, and waterfront dining at the Island Grill. The Island Grill offers casual lunch, dinner, and drinks with open-air decks providing views of the water. Dillon Reservoir itself spans 3,300 acres with 27 miles of shoreline, surrounded by majestic mountain peaks. While swimming and waterskiing are not permitted due to the cold alpine water, the reservoir is a world-class sailing destination, hosting frequent regattas. The Frisco Bay Marina has evolved from a community effort in the late 1980s to a full-service marina offering boat repairs, maintenance, and storage. The town of Frisco began operating the marina in 2005 and has since made significant improvements, including expanding the beach and improving dock space.
