Start from the center of Leadville at the historic Leadville Depot. Head east on E 6th St toward Harrison Ave. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Harrison Ave. Turn right onto Harrison Ave, which is the main street in Leadville. Follow Harrison Ave north out of Leadville for approximately 10 miles. You will eventually reach the town of Breckenridge. Once in Breckenridge, keep walking straight on Main St until you see the sculpture Isak Heartstone located near the corner of Main St and Ski Hill Rd.

Rent a bike from one of the local shops in Leadville. Start at the Leadville Depot and head east on E 6th St toward Harrison Ave. Turn right onto Harrison Ave and begin your ride north out of Leadville. Follow the bike-friendly routes towards Breckenridge, which is about 10 miles away. Once you arrive in Breckenridge, continue riding on Main St until you reach the Isak Heartstone sculpture, which will be on your left side at the intersection with Ski Hill Rd.
