Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Steamboat Springs and take US-40 East. Continue on US-40 until you reach I-70 East. Merge onto I-70 East and follow for approximately 70 miles. Then take exit 232 for US-285 South toward Fairplay. Follow US-285 South for about 50 miles until you reach the town of Sanford. Turn left onto County Road 24, and after about 3 miles, you will find Pikes Stockade located at 22862 Co Rd 24.
