Getting There

  • Walking

    From downtown Colorado Springs, the museum is an easy walk. Head south on Tejon Street, then turn right onto Vermijo Avenue. Continue west for a few blocks until you reach Sierra Madre Street. Turn left, and the museum will be on your right. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. Consider using the free Zeb shuttle along Tejon Street for a portion of the journey.

  • Public Transport

    Mountain Metro Transit (MMT) provides bus service to the downtown terminal, which is less than a mile from the museum. From the terminal, follow the walking directions above. Alternatively, the free Zeb shuttle stops near the museum. Check the MMT website for routes and schedules. A single fare is $1.75.

  • Driving

    From I-25, take Exit 141 for Cimarron Street. Turn west onto Cimarron Street, then left onto Sierra Madre Street. The museum will be on your left. Parking is available in the adjacent Park Union District lot for $7.50 per day. Metered parking is also available on Sierra Madre Street and Vermijo Avenue.
