Getting There

  • Driving

    From downtown Durango, head north on Main Avenue/Highway 550. Turn left (west) onto 25th Street, which becomes Junction Street. Continue on Junction Street until you see the Dalla Mountain Park entrance and a gravel parking lot on the right, approximately one mile from Main Avenue. Parking is free.

  • Biking

    From downtown Durango, bike north on Main Avenue/Highway 550 and turn left onto 25th Street. Follow 25th Street as it turns into Junction Creek Road. The park entrance and parking lot will be on your right, about a mile from Main Avenue. There are bike racks available at the trailhead.

  • Public Transport

    Durango Transit offers bus service that stops near the intersection of Main Avenue and 25th Street. From there, walk west on 25th Street (which turns into Junction Creek Road) for approximately one mile to reach the Dalla Mountain Park entrance on your right. A single fare is $2.
