Start at the Steamboat Springs Transit Center located at 1505 Lincoln Ave. From the Transit Center, head north on Lincoln Ave for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with 13th St. Turn left onto 13th St and continue walking for approximately 0.3 miles until you come to the Yampa River Core Trail. Follow the trail along the Yampa River for about 1.5 miles, enjoying the scenic views. As you reach the end of the trail, look for the sign that indicates the trail leading to Sulphur Cave Spring. Follow this trail for about 0.5 miles uphill, and you will arrive at Sulphur Cave Spring.

Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Steamboat Springs. Start at the downtown area, heading north on Lincoln Ave toward 13th St. Turn left onto 13th St and continue until you reach the Yampa River Core Trail. Follow the trail along the Yampa River, which will take you through beautiful landscapes for about 1.5 miles. Once you near the trail end, look for the trail leading to Sulphur Cave Spring. Follow this trail uphill for roughly 0.5 miles to reach your destination.

Take the free Steamboat Springs bus from any bus stop in the town to the 'Ski Area Base' stop. From there, walk north on Mount Werner Rd for about 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with Apres Ski Way. Turn left and follow Apres Ski Way until you see the Yampa River Core Trail entrance. Continue along the trail for about 1.5 miles, and watch for the trail that leads to Sulphur Cave Spring. Hike up this trail for about 0.5 miles, and you'll arrive at your destination.
