Walking
From downtown Steamboat Springs, head north on Lincoln Avenue (US-40). Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Fish Creek Falls Road. This is about a 1.5-mile walk. Once you reach Fish Creek Falls Road, turn left and continue for approximately 1 mile until you see the Fish Creek Falls parking area on your left. Note that the falls are located along a trail that begins at this parking area.

Take the free bus service, known as the Steamboat Springs Transit, from any bus stop in downtown Steamboat. Board the bus heading towards the Fish Creek Falls route. Get off at the Fish Creek Falls stop, which will leave you close to the entrance of the falls. From the bus stop, walk approximately 0.3 miles down Fish Creek Falls Road to reach the parking area and the trailhead.

If you're renting a bike, start from downtown Steamboat Springs and cycle along Lincoln Avenue (US-40) heading north. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Fish Creek Falls Road.
