Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Domoni, head southwest towards the main road. Follow the road as it curves around and continues until you reach a fork. Take the left path and continue straight. You will pass by local shops and houses, so feel free to ask locals for directions to Dziani Boundouni. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the lake or any nearby attractions. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will notice a gradual descent; this means you are getting closer. Continue down the path until you see the sign for Dziani Boundouni on your right. Follow the trail leading down to the lake.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle in Domoni and start from the main square. Head towards the main road and turn left. Follow this main road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the fork, and take the left path. As you cycle, enjoy the scenic views. After about 15-20 minutes, you'll begin to descend. Look for signs of Dziani Boundouni or ask local cyclists for directions. When you see the sign, park your bicycle and walk down the trail to the lake.

• Hiking

  For adventure seekers, a hiking route is also available. Starting from Domoni, head towards the hills that border the village. Follow the trails leading westward. You will encounter a few natural landmarks that can help you navigate. Ensure you have a good map or download one on your phone. The hike should take about an hour, depending on your pace. Look for the signs that indicate you are nearing Dziani Boundouni, which will be at a lower elevation. As you approach the lake, take in the beautiful surroundings and enjoy your time at this serene location.
