From downtown New Britain, head west on W Main St for approximately 0.5 miles. The park entrance will be on your right. Enjoy the well-lit and pedestrian-friendly walk.

From Hartford, take the CT Transit Route 40 bus towards New Britain. Get off at the New Britain Transportation Center and transfer to the Route 2 bus towards W Main St. Alight at the stop nearest W Main St and walk west for about 0.5 miles to reach Walnut Hill Park. CT Transit bus tickets cost between $2 and $5.

Walnut Hill Park is located at 184 W Main St, New Britain, CT 06052. From Hartford, take I-84 W and merge onto I-91 S. Take exit 22N for CT-9 N toward New Britain. Continue on CT-9 N for about 10 miles and take exit 24 for W Main St. Turn left onto W Main St and continue for approximately 1 mile. The park will be on your left. Parking is available on-site.
