Walking
From the Spring Street parking lot, cross the old waterfall dam to enter the preserve. Follow the white-blazed Carriage Path uphill. This well-maintained gravel trail leads to Lookout Mountain, offering views. The walk to the summit takes approximately 20 minutes.

Approaching Case Mountain, navigate to 640 Spring St, Manchester, CT, 06040. Parking is available in four main lots: Case Pond Lot (68 Birch Mountain Rd), Spring St. Lot (670 Spring St), Shenipsit Trail Lot (near 148 Birch Mountain Rd), and Line St. Lot (Line St). Parking is free. Note that parking area hours are from 6am to 8pm.
