Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Greenwich, head east on Greenwich Avenue towards East Elm Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Greenwich Metro-North Train Station. Here, you will board a train heading to New York City (the New Haven Line). Ensure you have a Metro-North ticket before boarding. The train ride to Grand Central Terminal will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway. Take the 4, 5, 6, or S train downtown to 14th Street Union Square. From there, transfer to the L train heading towards Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway. Get off at 1st Avenue station, and you will find yourself in the East Village area. Walk around to explore the vibrant culture and attractions of the East Village.

    Begin at the Greenwich Metro-North Train Station. Purchase a ticket for the New Haven Line to New York City. Board the train and travel to Grand Central Terminal.
