Train
From any location in Greenwich, walk to the Greenwich train station which is located at 2 Railroad Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830. You can ask locals for directions if you’re unsure. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Brooklyn, NY. Take the Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line towards Grand Central Terminal. At Grand Central, transfer to the 4 or 5 subway line to Brooklyn. You will need to get off at the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station. From there, follow the signs for the exit towards the Brooklyn Bridge. Walk east towards the Williamsburg Bridge, which is about a 20-minute walk. You will see the entrance to the Williamsburg Bridge Bicycle Path.
Bus
From your location in Greenwich, head to the nearest bus stop. Take the CT Transit bus route 10 or 11 towards Stamford. Get off at the Stamford station. From Stamford, take the Amtrak or Metro-North train towards New York City. Once you reach New York City, transfer to the L train at the 14th Street-Union Square station. Ride the L train towards Brooklyn and get off at the Bedford Avenue station. From there, walk south to the entrance of the Williamsburg Bridge Bicycle Path, which is approximately a 15-minute walk.
Bicycle
If you enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from a local bike shop in Greenwich. Start your ride from the center of Greenwich towards the east on the bike paths that lead to the Merritt Parkway. Follow bike lanes that will take you to the nearest train station (Greenwich Station) where you can take your bike onto the Metro-North train to New York City. Once in NYC, navigate to the Williamsburg Bridge by following the bike lanes and paths leading to the bridge entrance.
Walking
This option is not practical since Williamsburg Bridge is located in Brooklyn, and walking from Greenwich would take a very long time and is not recommended. However, you can walk to the nearest train station, which is Greenwich Station, and take the train as described previously.
