If you are driving to Putnam Cottage from anywhere in Housatonic Valley, head south on Route 7 until you reach the junction with I-95 South. Merge onto I-95 South and continue for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 3 for US-1 toward Greenwich. Merge onto E Putnam Ave/US-1 and continue for about 2 miles. Putnam Cottage will be on your right at 243 E Putnam Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830. There is limited parking available on-site.

To reach Putnam Cottage using public transportation, start by taking a Metro-North train from any station in Housatonic Valley (such as Kent or New Milford) to the Greenwich station. The train ride will take approximately 40-60 minutes. From the Greenwich station, you can take the 31 bus towards Stamford, which stops at various locations along E Putnam Ave. Get off at the stop closest to 243 E Putnam Ave. Putnam Cottage is a short walk from the bus stop.
