From Washington Depot, head north on CT-47 towards Washington Green. Turn left onto Tunnel Road. Continue on Tunnel Road to the parking area at Steep Rock Preserve. Parking is free. Be aware that parking may be limited during peak times.

From the center of Washington Depot, follow CT-47 north towards Tunnel Road. Turn left onto Tunnel Road and walk approximately 1 mile to the entrance of Steep Rock Preserve. Follow the signs to the main trails. Note that there are no sidewalks along Tunnel Road, so exercise caution.
