If you are driving, head towards Essex, CT. From most locations in Middlesex County, take Route 9 North or South depending on your starting point. If coming from the north, take Exit 3 for Route 154 towards Essex. Follow Route 154 until you reach the intersection with Main Street (Route 154). Turn onto Main Street, which will lead you directly into Essex. Continue on Main Street until you see Railroad Avenue, where you will turn left. The Essex Steam Train & Riverboat will be on your left at 1 Railroad Ave, Essex, CT 06426. Parking is available on-site, but there may be a small fee.
