Car
From Mohawk Mountain Ski Area, head south on Mohawk Mountain Road. Continue for about 2 miles until you reach Route 4. Turn left onto Route 4 and continue for approximately 12 miles, following signs toward Farmington. Merge onto I-84 E toward Hartford. After about 6 miles, take Exit 39 for Farmington Avenue. Continue on Farmington Avenue for about 1 mile, then turn left onto High Street. The Stanley-Whitman House will be on your left at 37 High St, Farmington, CT 06032. Note that parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
From Mohawk Mountain Ski Area, you will first need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest bus stop, as public transport options are limited directly from the ski area. Request a ride to the nearest bus station in the town of Cornwall Bridge. From there, take the CT Transit bus towards Hartford. You will need to transfer at the Hartford Bus Terminal to catch the bus going to Farmington. The bus will drop you off near Farmington Avenue, from where you can walk approximately 0.5 miles to 37 High St, Farmington, CT 06032. Be sure to check the current bus schedules and any fare costs associated with the trip.
