Start at the New Britain Museum of American Art located at 56 Lexington St, New Britain, CT. Exit the museum and head west on Main St toward W Main St. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the bus stop at New Britain Transportation Center (200 Main St). Take the CT Transit Bus # 1 towards Bristol. Ride the bus for about 25 minutes. Get off at the stop on Berlin Turnpike (Route 5) near the intersection with CT-71. From there, walk north on CT-71 for approximately 1 mile. You will see signs for Cathole Gorge. The gorge is located at 655-699 CT-71, Berlin, CT 06037. Follow the path leading into the gorge area.
