Public Bus
To reach the Riverhead Holiday Light Show from downtown New Haven, start at the New Haven Green. Walk to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Chapel Street and Church Street. Take the CT Transit bus #226 towards Riverhead. Stay on the bus for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Disembark at the Riverhead Light Show stop. From there, follow the signs for the event entrance, which is about a 5-minute walk.

Bike
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike share station near the New Haven Green. Head southeast on Chapel Street until you reach the intersection with Whalley Avenue. Turn left onto Whalley Avenue and continue until you reach the intersection with Route 25. Follow Route 25 North for approximately 10 miles. The Riverhead Holiday Light Show will be on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations.

Walking
Walking to the Riverhead Holiday Light Show from downtown New Haven is quite a long trek, as it is about 10 miles away. If you choose to walk, head out of the downtown area towards Route 25. You will walk along Whalley Avenue, which has a sidewalk. This route will take you past several shops and restaurants. However, consider this option only if you are prepared for a long walk, as it will take several hours to reach your destination.
