From downtown Stamford, walk to the Stamford Transportation Center. Once there, board the CT Transit bus route 12 towards Darien. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. You will want to get off at the 'Post Rd & Tokeneke Rd' stop. From there, walk south on Post Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Boston Post Road Historic District at 676 Post Rd, Darien, CT 06820.

If you are near the Stamford Town Center, head east on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Atlantic Street. Turn left onto Atlantic Street and continue walking until you reach the Stamford Transportation Center. From there, follow the public bus route as described above, or you can take a more scenic route by walking along Atlantic Street heading towards the Post Road, which is approximately a 1.5-mile walk.
