    If you are driving, start by getting onto CT-69 N from your current location in The Quiet Corner. Follow CT-69 N for approximately 10 miles. Then, take the exit for US-6 W towards Waterbury. Merge onto US-6 W and continue for about 7 miles. Take the exit onto I-84 W towards Waterbury. After about 5 miles, take exit 23 toward CT-8 S. Merge onto CT-8 S and continue for approximately 4 miles. Take exit 25 for Beacon Falls. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Pines Bridge Rd. Matthies Memorial Park will be on your left after about 0.5 miles.

    Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus from various locations in The Quiet Corner to New Haven. From New Haven, transfer to the 228 bus route heading towards Beacon Falls. Get off at the Pines Bridge Rd stop. From there, it’s a short 0.3-mile walk to Matthies Memorial Park. Head west on Pines Bridge Rd and the park will be on your right. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
