Walking
From the Muri Night Market, walk south along the main road (Ara Tapu) towards the Muri Beach Club Hotel. Continue past the hotel, keeping the lagoon on your right. Muri Matangi is located a short distance further along Ara Tapu, on the lagoon side of the road. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. There are no specific costs involved in walking.

Public Transport
The bus is a convenient way to reach Muri Matangi from other parts of Rarotonga. Both the clockwise and anti-clockwise buses stop along the main road in Muri. Alight at a stop near the Muri Night Market or Muri Beach Club Hotel. From there, walk south as described in the 'Walking' guidance to reach Muri Matangi. A one-way bus fare is NZ$5 per adult.

Taxis are available from Rarotonga Airport or Avarua. Request a drop-off at Muri Matangi, Ara Tapu, Muri. The taxi ride from the airport to Muri typically costs around NZ$25-NZ$40. From Avarua, expect to pay approximately NZ$20-NZ$30. Note that taxi fares in Rarotonga are approximately NZ$3 per kilometer.
