    By Car

    From San Jose, take Route 1 heading northwest towards Alajuela. Continue on Route 1 until you reach Route 141. Take Route 141 and continue until you reach Ciudad Quesada. From Ciudad Quesada, take Route 4 north towards La Fortuna. Bogarin Trail is located approximately 5 kilometers north of La Fortuna. Look for signs indicating the entrance to the trail.

    From San Jose, take a bus heading towards Ciudad Quesada. Once in Ciudad Quesada, transfer to a bus heading towards La Fortuna. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Bogarin Trail. From there, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the trail entrance.
