Cahuita National Park Guided Hike by Native Naturalistic Guide
Incredible day, full of laughter!
I had the absolute best day with Shailo! I wanted to do the whole trail with a guide instead of only the 2hr tour, and he was happy to accomodate that. We met at the busstation in Puerto Viejo and even before we entered the park, he spotted some very cool (and hidden) animals I would’ve never seen if I would’ve been alone. He is incredibly friendly and we have been laughing the whole day, joking around. At one point it was pouring rain so much, we were soaked and the animals were playing a fair game of hide and seek; and we still had the best time! He still found so many animals and was at the end of the day, just as enthusiastic as the moment we started. We ended the day with some well deserved beers and more laughing. Can absolutely highly recommend going with Shailo on it’s tours! It was one of the best days I had during my trip :)

Half day Tortuguero Canal, Cahuita National Park & Puerto Limon
Great adventures with Pablo!
Our tour with Pablo was amazing! He is a very knowledgeable and professional tour guide, super conscious about spotting all the wildlife. Every minute of the tour he was putting all his efforts into telling us some information, facts about Costa Rica and pointing out the animals . We saw different birds, snake, monkeys, sloths; tried some real good local coffee and fruits. Pablo was also providing us with the water and WiFi. What a service! I want to apologize for the delay which was caused by our ship’s late disembarkation. Few people on our tour were unhappy about that but that was something out of our control. Pablo greeted us with the smile anyway and we still did everything what was planned out, nothing was skipped, we spent 7 hours together. If you think what tour to book, do not hesitate, Pablo is your first choice. You will see it yourself when you meet other tour guides during stops and compare their knowledge (I was able to hear some comments myself). Thank you for a great day!

Cahuita National Park & Bribri chocolate & Waterfall visit.
Compulsory tour if you are in Puerto Viejo
These are the cases where a guide is essential to show you what really lives in the park. Thanks to Ariel I was able to see many animals and take amazing photos. I also got to know about the Bribri community and learn about the cocoa process, even making my own chocolate! The waterfall just that day was brown from a collapse.
