To reach Vargas Araya Park by car from Cahuita National Park, start by heading northwest on Route 36 towards Bribri. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with Route 32. Take the Route 32 exit towards San José. Follow Route 32 for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach San José. Once in San José, take the exit towards Route 1 (Interamericana Sur) and continue driving for about 5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to San Pedro, and take the exit onto Avenida 1. Follow Avenida 1 until you reach the intersection with C. los Cebollinos, where you will find Vargas Araya Park on your right. Parking is available on-site.
