    If you are starting from the National Theater of Costa Rica, head east on Avenida 2 towards Plaza de la Cultura. Continue straight until you reach Avenida Central, then turn right. Walk for about 5 minutes and you will see Plaza de la Democracia y de la Abolición del Ejército on your left, near the intersection with Avenida 4.
