Walking
El Miro is located on the southern end of Jacó. From the south end of Jacó, head south on Costanera Sur (Route 34). Look for the trailhead across from PuddleFish Brewery and a small juice stand. The trail entrance is near the corner of Calle Madrigal and Costanera Sur. The hike is moderately steep and takes about 20-30 minutes. Limited street parking is available on Calle Madrigal. Paid parking may also be available at the entrance to the trail. Be careful when crossing Costanera Sur, as it is a busy road.

Taxis are readily available in Jacó. Ask the taxi to take you to the El Miro trailhead on the south end of town, across from PuddleFish Brewery. A typical taxi ride within Jacó costs between $2 and $5. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your trip.
