El Miro, also known as Miro's Mountain, is perched on a hill on the southern edge of Jacó. This unique spot offers visitors a blend of history, art, and natural beauty. The original owner, a wealthy European, passed away before the project was completed, leaving behind a hauntingly beautiful shell.Over time, the abandoned structure has been transformed by Costa Rican and international street artists. Its walls, archways, and columns serve as canvases for vibrant expressions of creativity. The ruins consist of white pillars, tiled corridors, archways with ocean views, and layered platforms.The hike to El Miro takes visitors through lush jungle scenery with multiple viewpoints offering stunning vistas of Jacó and the Pacific Ocean.
