Getting There

Bus
From Jaco, head to the main bus terminal located on Avenida Pastor Díaz. Purchase a ticket to Caldera; buses run approximately every 30-60 minutes. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the Caldera bus stop. After getting off, you can walk towards the coast for about 10 minutes to reach the beautiful beaches.

If you're in the center of Jaco, start at the beach and walk towards the south end. Continue walking along the beach road until you reach the intersection with Avenida Pastor Díaz. Turn left and walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you arrive at the bus terminal, where you can catch a bus to Caldera.

You can easily find a taxi in Jaco. Just flag one down or ask your hotel to call one for you. Inform the driver that you want to go to Caldera. The ride should take roughly 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure the driver knows to drop you off at the main beach area in Caldera.
