Bus

You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in Jaco. Just inform the driver that you want to go to Carara National Park, located in Garabito. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare or ask for the meter to be used before setting off.
Walking & Shuttle

If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk to the nearby village of Tarcoles, which is about 6 km from Jaco. It's a scenic route along the coast. Once in Tarcoles, you can get a local shuttle or taxi to Carara National Park. It's a short ride of about 10-15 minutes.
