Driving
If driving from San José, take Route 27 west, a toll road (approximately 3,000 colones) , until the exit for Route 34 towards Jacó. Follow Route 34. Once in the town of Playa Blanca, navigate to a parking lot close to Mantas Beach, just to the north of Playa Blanca. Parking costs around $4 USD. Arrive early during high season or weekends to secure a spot.
Public Transport
To reach Playa Blanca via public transport from San José, take a bus to nearby towns like Jacó. From Jacó, take a local taxi or shuttle to Playa Blanca. Bus fares from San José to Jacó typically range from 2,470 CRC to 3,500 CRC. A taxi or shuttle from Jacó to Playa Blanca will cost extra.
