Marea Alta is located approximately 300 meters south of the Cruz Roja in Jacó. From most points in central Jacó, it's easily accessible on foot. Simply head south along the main road (Pastor Diaz Avenue) until you see the Red Cross building, then continue a short distance further. The restaurant will be on your left. Walking within Jacó is generally safe and convenient.

Taxis are readily available throughout Jacó. A short taxi ride from anywhere in the town center to Marea Alta will typically cost between $2 and $5 USD. Ensure the taxi is a registered one, identifiable by its red color and yellow triangle door decals. You can ask your hotel or any restaurant to call a taxi for you.

If driving, Marea Alta is located south of the Cruz Roja. Parking in Jacó can be challenging, especially during peak season. There is a parking lot in the center of Jacó that offers hourly and daily rates. As of 2022, the rate was approximately 1,000 Costa Rican Colones per hour.
