Gelatoland: A Sweet Escape in La Fortuna

Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the central park in La Fortuna, head south towards the main road (Avenida 1) until you reach the intersection with Calle 4. Turn right onto Calle 4 and continue walking straight. You will pass various shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the Iglesia Católica de La Fortuna on your left. Gelatoland is located just behind it, on the south side of the church. Look for the sign indicating its entrance.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in La Fortuna. Start your ride from the central park and head south on Avenida 1. After a few blocks, turn right onto Calle 4. Continue straight until you reach the Iglesia Católica de La Fortuna. Gelatoland is directly behind the church, easily accessible from the road. Make sure to park your bicycle safely before entering.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi. From wherever you are in La Fortuna, simply tell the driver you want to go to Gelatoland, located behind the Catholic Church (Iglesia Católica de La Fortuna). The ride should be relatively short and cost-effective, as the destination is centrally located.

• Public Bus

  While public buses are not the most direct option, they can be used if you are coming from nearby towns. Board a bus heading to La Fortuna and get off at the main bus terminal. From there, walk south towards Avenida 1, then turn right on Calle 4. Continue walking until you see the Iglesia Católica de La Fortuna on your left; Gelatoland is situated behind the church.
