Experience Bijagua Ranas

Getting There

  • Bus

    From Liberia, head to the main bus terminal located at Calle 4, Avenida 3, opposite the Plaza Mayor. Look for the bus company called 'Transportes del Norte'. Purchase a ticket to Bijagua de Upala. The bus departs regularly, typically every hour or so. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to inform the driver that you are going to Bijagua, as there may be multiple stops along the route.

  • Walking

    Once you arrive at the Bijagua de Upala bus stop, you will need to walk to Bijagua Ranas. Walk southeast along the main road (Route 6) for about 400 meters until you reach a junction near Banco Nacional. From there, turn right and continue straight for an additional 400 meters. Bijagua Ranas will be located on your left side, near the indicated address.

  • Taxi

    Alternatively, if you prefer not to walk, you can take a taxi from the Bijagua de Upala bus stop directly to Bijagua Ranas. Taxis are usually available at the bus stop. Make sure to confirm the fare before getting in, and the drive will take about 10 minutes.
