Getting There

Walking

From the main area of Playa Flamingo, Estero Azul is located towards Potrero. Walk towards the north end of Playa Flamingo, past the Flamingo Marina. Continue along the beach until you see a place called Plaemar. Turn onto the alley next to it and follow the lane to the right. Estero Azul is at the end of the road. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. Be sure to bring bug spray.
Taxi

Taxis are available in Playa Flamingo, though not as readily available as in larger cities. A taxi from the center of Playa Flamingo to Estero Azul is a short ride, approximately 5-10 minutes. Expect to pay around $10 - $15 for the trip. Agree on the fare before starting your journey.
Driving

From the main area of Playa Flamingo, drive north towards Potrero. Pass the Flamingo Marina. When you turn right at the beach at Restaurant Pleamar keep on going straight all way to the back of the road (about 100m). You'll find a fisherman's house with a small eating place next to the beach. Parking is available in a parking lot. Parking is free.
