Driving
The Crocodile Bridge is located on Route 34, approximately 45 miles (73 kilometers) from San José. From San José, take Route 27 and exit at Jacó, then continue south on Route 34 for about 45 minutes. From Jacó, the bridge is about a 20-minute drive north on Route 34. There is parking available on both sides of the bridge, near the souvenir shops and restaurants. Be aware of possible car break-ins and take necessary precautions. Parking attendants may be present to assist, and tipping is customary.

Public Transport
To reach the Crocodile Bridge via public transport from San José, take a bus from the San José Tracopa Terminal to Tárcoles. The bus journey takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes, and tickets cost around $7-$12. From Puntarenas, take a bus to Jacó and disembark at the Crocodile Bridge. If coming from Jacó, the 655 Jacó bus runs every 4 hours and takes about 40 minutes to reach the bridge. Let the bus driver know where you are going. Bus fares for short trips typically cost under $1 USD. Taxis are available but more expensive; a taxi from San José to the Crocodile Bridge costs approximately $130-$160.
