Getting There

• Bus

  From downtown San José, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal de Buses de San José (Calle 15, Av. 2). Look for the buses heading to Heredia or Santa Bárbara. Purchase a ticket to Santa Bárbara de Heredia. The bus ride takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Santa Bárbara, get off at the main bus station. From the bus station, walk north on Calle 1 until you reach the intersection with Calle 2. Turn right onto Calle 2 and continue straight until you reach the Y Griega intersection. From there, head to the north along Rosales for about 800 meters, and El Arca Vivero will be on your left.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing Service

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing service like Uber. Simply provide the driver with the destination address: 'de la Y Griega Rosales 800 m north Santa Barbara, Heredia, 40401'. The drive from San José to El Arca Vivero takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Walking from the Bus Station

  If you arrive in Santa Bárbara de Heredia by bus, you can walk to El Arca Vivero. From the bus station, head north on Calle 1. When you reach the intersection with Calle 2, turn right. Continue straight until you reach the Y Griega intersection. There, turn left onto Rosales and walk north for about 800 meters. El Arca Vivero will be on your left side.
