Getting There

  From Santa Rosa National Park, exit the park and head south on Route 1 (Interamericana Norte) toward Liberia. Continue for approximately 20 km until you reach the junction with Route 180. Take the exit onto Route 180 towards Huacas. Follow Route 180 for about 10 km, and then turn right onto Route 155 toward Playa Conchal. After about 5 km, you will arrive at Playa Conchal. Ensure your vehicle has full insurance coverage, as some rental companies require it when driving on rural roads.

  From Santa Rosa National Park, you will first need to take a taxi or shuttle service to the nearest bus terminal in Liberia. The fare should be around $30-$50. Once you reach the Liberia bus terminal, take a bus heading toward Huacas. Buses run frequently, and the fare is approximately $1-$2. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at Huacas. From Huacas, you will need to take a local taxi to Playa Conchal, which should cost around $10. Confirm the taxi fare before departing.
