If you are staying in Playa Flamingo, Coco Loco is easily accessible by foot. From most points in town, simply head towards the beach and follow the shoreline south. The restaurant is located on the southern end of Playa Flamingo, about 600 meters from the Margaritaville resort.

If driving, enter 'Margaritaville Beach Resort Playa Flamingo' into your GPS. Coco Loco is located 600 meters from the resort. Parking is available along the dirt road leading to the restaurant. Be aware that parking can be tight, especially during peak hours. It is customary to tip the parking attendants 1,000 to 2,000 colones ($2 to $4 USD). There is no official secure parking lot for Flamingo beach but the main parking area is literally just street parking along the beach road. However, it is not secure so if you park on the street, do not leave anything in your car, roll up windows and lock your doors.

Taxis are available in Playa Flamingo, and a short ride to Coco Loco from elsewhere in town will typically cost between $5 and $10 USD. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. A taxi from Playa Flamingo to Tamarindo will cost $35-$50.
