From the Santa Rosa National Park entrance, head southeast on Route 1 (Interamericana) for about 20 kilometers. Look for signs directing you toward Las Catalinas and Sugar Beach. Continue on Route 1 until you see the exit for Route 180, which leads to Las Catalinas. Follow Route 180 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Sugar Beach Road. Turn left onto Sugar Beach Road and continue for 3 kilometers until you reach the beach parking area. Be prepared for a bumpy road, and ensure your vehicle has good clearance. Parking may incur a fee, typically around $5.00.
