Getting There

Walking
From the center of Playa Flamingo, head south along the beach. Walk along the sandy shoreline for approximately 15-20 minutes. Keep the ocean on your left side. You will pass several small beach bars and restaurants. As you approach the north end of Playa Conchal, look for a small path leading up through the trees on your right. This path will take you to Playa Ardilla, which is a secluded beach known for its tranquil atmosphere.

Biking
Rent a bike from one of the local shops in Playa Flamingo. Start from the main street in Playa Flamingo and head south towards Playa Conchal. Follow the road that curves around the coastline. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign indicating the entrance to Playa Ardilla. There’s a small parking area, but since you won’t be driving, you can park your bike and take the short walking path down to the beach.

Public Transportation
From Playa Flamingo, take a local bus heading to Brasilito. You can catch the bus from the main road. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Once in Brasilito, ask the driver to let you off near the entrance to Playa Conchal. From there, follow the signs to Playa Conchal and walk along the beach for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Playa Ardilla. It's a beautiful walk along the coast.
