From the center of Dominical, take Route 34 (Costanera Sur) north. Continue on this scenic coastal road for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the town of Quepos. In Quepos, take the exit toward Route 618 to get onto Route 2 (Interamericana). Follow Route 2 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 145. Turn left onto Route 145 and continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the town of Ortega. Once in Ortega, look for the local Catholic church; Palo Verde Boat Tours is located 75 meters south of the church.

From Dominical, take a bus heading to Quepos. Buses depart regularly from the main bus stop in Dominical. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Once in Quepos, transfer to a bus going to Ortega. This bus ride will take about 20-30 minutes. After reaching Ortega, disembark near the local Catholic church. Palo Verde Boat Tours is located just 75 meters south of the church, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
