Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the central area of Abidjan, start at Place de la République. From there, head southwest on Avenue Lamine Guèye towards Rue 12. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenue Chardy. Turn left onto Avenue Chardy and walk for approximately 800 meters until you reach the entrance of the Parc National du Banco.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the central bus station, take bus number 12 heading towards Cocody. Inform the driver you want to get off at the stop nearest to Parc National du Banco. The ride will take about 25 minutes. Once you get off, walk about 500 meters south along Avenue Chardy until you reach the park entrance.

  • Taxi (Motorbike)

    Find a nearby motorbike taxi (known as 'zemidjan'). Negotiate the fare before getting on. Tell the driver you want to go to Parc National du Banco. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. They will drop you off at the entrance of the park.
