Getting There

Public Transportation

To reach Mont Tonkoui using public transport, take a shared taxi or bus from Duékoué to a village near the mountain. From there, hire a local guide or motorcycle taxi to the base. Shared taxi should cost around 2,000 CFA, and a motorcycle taxi may cost 1,000-2,000 CFA.
Car

If driving, start from Duékoué and head west on the N1 highway towards San Pedro. After about 30km, look for signs to Mont Tonkoui. The final stretch is a dirt road to the base, so ensure your vehicle has good clearance. Parking is available at the base.
Hiking

After reaching the base of Mont Tonkoui, hike to the summit. The trail is marked but can be steep and challenging. It typically takes about 1-2 hours to reach the top. Hiring local guides costs around 5,000 CFA.
