Getting There

Walking
From the center of Sassandra, head towards the main road (Avenue de la République). Walk west along this avenue until you reach the roundabout near the beach. Continue straight through the roundabout, staying on Avenue de la République. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a small path leading to the left. Take this path, which will lead you into a more rural area. After about 500 meters, you will see signs pointing towards Chutes de la Nawa. Follow these signs, and after an additional 1.5 kilometers of walking, you will arrive at the beautiful waterfalls.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Sassandra. Begin at the town center and ride west on Avenue de la République towards the beach. Follow the avenue until you reach the roundabout, then continue straight. After about 1.5 kilometers, take the small left path that leads into the countryside. Ride for about 500 meters, and keep an eye out for signs indicating Chutes de la Nawa. Continue on this route, cycling for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach the waterfalls.
