Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Banovina and head towards the D1 highway. Follow the signs to the D1 highway and merge onto it. Continue on the D1 for about 25 kilometers until you reach the exit for Novi Vinodolski (exit 8). Once you exit, follow the signs towards Novi Vinodolski city center. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Frankopanski kaštel. Turn left onto Ulica Frankopana, and the castle will be on your right side. There is usually free parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a bus from Banovina to Novi Vinodolski. Check the local bus schedules as they may vary, but buses typically run every hour. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Novi Vinodolski bus station, exit and head towards the city center. You can walk to Frankopanski kaštel, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head towards Ulica Frankopana and follow the signs to the castle. Ensure to check the return bus schedule in advance to plan your trip back.
