Getting There

• Ferry

  To reach the Cliffs of Dugi otok from Zadar, start by making your way to the Zadar Ferry Port, which is located near the city center. You can walk there from the Old Town; simply head towards the waterfront and look for signs indicating the ferry terminal. Once at the terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Sali on Dugi otok. Ferries to Sali generally run multiple times a day, but be sure to check the schedule in advance as it can vary by season. The ferry ride takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arrival in Sali, you will disembark at the ferry terminal. From there, you can follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the Cliffs of Dugi otok, which is a short walk away.

  If you prefer not to take the ferry directly, you can also utilize public transportation. Take a bus from Zadar to the town of Sali. Buses can be caught from the main bus station in Zadar, which is about a 15-minute walk from the Old Town. Look for buses heading to Dugi otok or Sali specifically. The bus journey may take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the route. Upon arrival at the Sali bus stop, follow the local signs or ask for directions to the Cliffs of Dugi otok, which is within walking distance from the bus terminal.
